Keeping up-to-date with PsychClub

If you find it difficult to keep track of developments on the PsychClub website, there are a number of tools that can help you. Rather than visiting the website and trying to spot new threads on the forum, for example, the website can send you a message instead.

Facebook
Like our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/superegocafe. New forum threads and news items are posted automatically on Facebook with a link back to the forum. There are Facebook apps for all mobile phones, including Apple iPhone/iPad, Google Android and Windows Phone. Now you can keep up-to-date with the forum wherever you are.

Twitter
Follow our Twitter page at https://twitter.com/#!/superegocafe. New forum threads and news items are posted automatically on Twitter with a link back to the forum and website. Again, there are Twitter apps on all mobile platforms and desktops.

RSS
Subscribe to an RSS feed on the board you want to follow - the orange button at the bottom right of each forum board topics page. There are many RSS readers. Most email clients can also show you RSS feeds as a folder, just like your emails. RSS feeds are automatically updated with the latest threads.

Follow a board
If you have a favourite board, go to that board and click on the 'Follow this' button at the top right of the page. You'll then receive notification by email of all new topics in that board. Try it now on the General Chat board.

Follow a topic
If you have a favourite topic, go to that topic and click on the 'Follow this' button at the top right of the page. You'll then receive notification by email whenever someone replies to that topic. If you post in that topic, you have the choice to automatically receive notification of replies.

Activity stream
If you visit the forum and just want to see the latest posts, click on the Activity  option on the main menu at the top of the screen and then choose All Activity. You can also use this link:  http://www.psychclub.com/discover/. You can create custom activity streams to highlight selective updates.

Using one or more of these methods is a good time management technique. Many websites offer similar facilities. Instead of endlessly browsing websites looking for something which might not have been put online, the websites themselves can notify you when the event happens.
