  1. Dear Doctor

im preparing for paper A for the past one year.

    kindly guide me

  2. Many domain names are sold in six or seven figures on the merit of the names. I have sold domains in x,xxx and xx,xxx without any stats. Domains are not like websites and stats aren't normally needed unless buyers just want to make money from parking domains.
  3. Hi I would like to sell the domain, Mentalhealthforum.com for £700 which is about the price I paid when I bought it a few years ago to develop it. I never got time to develop it. Let me know if you're interested to buy it. It's a great domain for any mental health professional. Many thanks
  4. I passed both paper 2 and 3 on same day before. It can be done.
  5. How about trying locum jobs for 3 to 4 weeks while you're on annual leave before deciding it suits you.
  6. I am not sure whether you're from UK or somewhere else. I have researched about property prices worldwide and have seen the following articles interesting. The articles are regarding prices in India which is my neighbouring country. http://www.siliconindia.com/realestate/news/TenFold-Increase-in-Land-Prices-in-TierII-Cities-nid-139155.html http://articles.economictimes.indiatimes.com/2013-11-12/news/43981081_1_farmland-prices-rs-10-lakh-land-acquisition/3
  7. Possibly you may consider buy to let properties in the UK. For me I buy land plots in my native country.
  8. I have also been working as a locum for nearly 5 and half years and with current trust for nearly 5 years. I like it and a bit regret that I could have started doing locum jobs about 3 or 4 years earlier. I don't know about the current locum market as I have been with the same trsut over four and half years. But I still have calls and emails for locum jobs and so I think locum market is not that bad. I would still recommend people doing locums if they would choose not to work until the age of 65 or so. With the money one makes with locum jobs, if invested nicely, may not need to work until such an age of 65 or so.
  9. Yes, it's a positive.
  10. As long as you can do basic calcuations, it will be fine. But Maths does help and Paper 3 is my favoriate paper among the three due to being comfortable with Maths. You can deduce most equations from 2 or 3 basic equations.
  11. I think it would be excellent to start doing video recording if the CASC exam is to be held in London headquarters. There is no reason they can't install digital cameras in the CASC rooms in the headquarter like USMLE does and that way, examiners might have to be more cautious regarding failing people.
  12. Thank you and it's encouraging. I have been working as an agency locum staff grade at the current trust for over 4 years now. I will apply for AC status with support from the consultants here. They're very supportive and will continue working here as long as they need me as I feel grateful to them.
  13. Thanks. Are you still working as a locum consultant? Did you do it for long period? I usually like to stay in a place for as long as possible.
  14. Thanks. I wonder you know anyone who has worked as a locum consultant with AC status without CCT/CESR and Mrcpsych. One of my colleagues said he was offered locum consultant post for 1 year just with AC status.
  15. I am wondering whether any of you have done locum consultant jobs with AC status (no CCT, no MRCPsych). I was told that one can work as a locum consultant without CCT and MRCPsych but has AC status. How does it work?
