HI GUYS,

we've got a patient in our ward ,who is on donazepil 10 mg for his dementia and on insulin for his IDDM. his sugar level has come down considerably after starting Donazepil. Does Donapezil affect the BLOOD SUGAR level. Does anyone got a view?

Haven't come across an association of this type.

There is an interaction between donepezil and rosiglitazone of some sort.

Its more likely that his cognition has improved and is adhering to a diet which is better for him or just listening more to what the nurses tell him.
