Goodbye Google Glass. Hello HoloLens!

Microsoft have announced a holographic headset called HoloLens at their Windows 10 event today. The headset is wireless, and does not need to pair with either a computer or a phone. It has its own CPU, and GPU, plus a new ‘Holographic Processing Unit’ designed specifically for this new kind of computing.

 

Plus Windows 10 is going to be a free upgrade

i think the tech in that is totally fabulous !!!

 

if MS dont restrict it to Windows 10 and Xbox One, it should do wonders to expand the horizons of gamingdom...

True, true---but that was more like leapmotion .....or lack thereof?

 

I've got high hopes for holovision.......but wish that they'd pick up Jobs' now posthumous talent for making a rounded product.
