2016 Jan CASC Day 1: Physical examination in vascular dementia

Allegedly, this was a station. What do we examine? In what order do we examine?

Use alcohol gel

 

General exam

Arteries-thickened

Pulse

Hypertension

Obesity

 

CVS

Cardiomegaly

 

Motor system

Tone

Power

Co-ordination

Reflexes- unequal

Stance

Gait: Small steppe, ataxic

Hemiparesis

Lower facial weakness

Babinski sign

Sensory

Sensory deficit

 

Cranial nerves

Hemianopia

Dysarthria

Pseudobulbar palsy (spastic tongue, dysarthria, dysphagia, Bradykinesia, emotional lability)

Impaired pupillary reaction

 

Fundoscopy

 

Soft neurology

Aphasia

Apraxia

Can i know what was the exact staion ? i mean what was the main task of the staion.? and then we can solve it

There were no physical examinations except for the first day. I wonder whether college was fed up with psychiatrists CVS physical examination skills.
