the last MCQ question on Ai showed an ECG and asked what the medical issue is.

the first two answers were Anterior and Inferior MI

Can anyone say what the correct answer was?

some tricky questions, e.g. when was homosexuality removed from ICD, the answer seems to be ICD10 !

There was an EMI that asked for two heirachical assesment scales, didnt have a clue, can anyone say answer?

Paper Aii

receptors which flumezanil acts on

glutamate acts on which receptors

side effects: hypertension,leucopenia

first part to be effected in alzhimers

papez circuit

some familiar ones like: aripiprazole half life, y used for hyperproloactinoma, which pathway antopsychotics work on, hepatic encephalitis EEG, time duration when switching between trazadone and mirtazapine etc

lotsof genetics like segregation analysis, physical mapping , aneuploidy, huntingtons mode of inheritence

picks bodies, verenaciline, clomipramine, what interacts with OCPs, 

name the sub cortical visual pathways, central vision : what is effected

lateral geniculate body, mirtazapine ( no hypoNa),drugs that potentiate INR, agomelatine, QTc : amitriptyline, 

so basically very fimililiar themes but tricky questions..

 

 

Paper Ai focussed a lot on which tests for what: frontal tests, ASD diagnosis which interview, Ray ostereith, MMSE recall, anterograde memory, sleep disturbance,age 7: industry..., animism, conservation, kohlnberg's conventional, 

less from descriptive or dynamic psychopatho

lots from social, classification few questions, an easy one on Cushing and addisons,

Was it not autosomal recessive? The pedigree chart was bit odd as couple of females and male filled in black, but there was no identification of carriers (no half filled or dot or grey etc)

I don't know the correct answer i was confused as only female affected skipping generations and transmitted from mother to son

i too felt the pedigree was autosomal recessive

also was the ecg anterior wall or inferior wall?

ecg seems to be ant wall as v-3,4,5, are showing st elevation.

pedigree chart -i too felt autosomal recessive

 it is subclavian artery , pls any idea about the passing mark ?? As paper Ai was horrible for me in comparison to paper Aii especially EMI and  the scales qs:(.. Thx

i think poor language development in daef child and hearing parent is the right answer because deaf child and deaf parent comunicate well

No idea ... So many question to which I had to idea what I was marking ... Especially in paper Ai... I wonder what the pass marks will be...
