Wernicke's - urgent question

3 posts in this topic

Hi everyone..

I just wanted to clarify the Wernicke's physical exam. In SPMM book it says after nystagmus & gait, we should do tone, power, reflexes??

Shouldn't it be the cerebellar exam?

Did anyone pass this station previously?

Please advise..

Pass the Casc book says:

Eyes, Speech (British Constitution), Motor coordination (past pointing phenomenon finger-nose test. Dysdiadokokinesia, heel shin test). Gait abnormalities. Motor, tone, power, reflexes.

Also check orientation for the sake of completion.

Tremors worth checking.
