Hi all,

I hope you don't mind me posting here. I'm a psychotherapist working in England.

A long-term patient of mine has been receiving private psychiatric care for 8 years now and I would be extremely grateful for any feedback regarding her pharmacological treatment plan. She has made very little improvement since her diagnosis and her meds do not appear to reduce her significant depression, impulsivity, anxiety, and frequent suicidal ideation.

Her diagnosis is Emotional Dysregulation Disorder with Borderline traits and her medication is as follows:

375mg venlafaxine extended release, 45mg mirtazapine, 600mg pregabalin, 100mg quetiapine. A recent short-term addition of 2mg Diazepam and Zopiclone has just ended.
Many thanks!
