Hmmm, could the lack of other replies indicate a reluctance to do the work for you when the title was posted in such haste that the spelling is all up the creek and it looks like YOU'RE SHOUTING ? (and such an over-the-top inflammatory statement that even the college wouldn't consider it)

thanks josie that was v. usefull :D.. i could access only the summary of the maudsley paper on the web, though it contained lot of info..

no 6 esp for u-- being critical and being critical constuctively are two v. different concepts. guess which is undesirable and which is indispensable in psychiatry ;)

Has anyone any good arguments about a hypothesis called the

- its about people being mad or bad, and the difference of opinion depending on society's prevailing opinion?

Its in Gunn and Taylor and all Forensic texts, but was told that it is an old discredited hypothesis...

any thoughts? esp. in connection with DSPD.

guess nobody's heard of it!!! ???

But found many related concepts which say that the no. of mental health beds in the UK have been reduced from 150,000 in the 1950s, to 45000 now - and a number of those 100,000 people have nowhere to drift to and hence we are told the prisons are getting overcrowded!
