Child ISQ

Hi

Was wondering if anyone knows the answer to the following:

Genes are as important as relationships in determining adjustment in children?

Can't find the answer anywhere! ???

You're right that the answer to this doesn't seem to be anywhere (and probably not known). Genes are certainly important eg.

Genes, Attachment Disorganisation and Psychopathology

'Genetic Variability of the Dopamine D4 Receptor (DRD4) and the Risk for Attachment Disorganisation in Infancy'

Judit Gervai, Krisztina Lakatos, Ildiko Toth, Krisztina Ney, Maria Sasvari-Szekely

'The Role of the Dopamine D4 Receptor and Serotonin Transporter Genes in Partially Determining Early Temperament Traits in Humans'

Richard P Ebstein

...But how much importance is 'as important' ???

I'd probably tentatively guess true

Thought it might be but it was more of a gut feeling!

These mcqs are quite different from the part 1.

Bought a few more books so that might help.
