Does anyone know the answers to these q

1-likelihood of shoplifting to be repeated if associated with mental illness

2-arson likely to be repeated if assoc with epilepsy..

???

::)Shoplifting is a form of theft which is perpetrated on a massive scale with huge losses to the retail trade. Most shoplifting has nothing to do with any mental disorder. Gibbens et al. in an early follow-up study of 532 women who had shoplifted 10 years earlier, found rates of subsequent psychiatric inpatient treatment three times greater than expected; depressive disorders were the most common. :P this question depends on the wording, if kleptomania is mentioned the answer would be true, as it is written above is true as well.

Occasionally, brain tumour, injury, epilepsy, dementia, or metabolic disturbance may play a part. For example, although epilepsy is not commonly associated with fire-raising, one should always be on the lookout for the case in which such a crime has been committed when the person appeared not to be in a state of clear consciousness or when onlookers were present.
