Alpha waves are suppressed while doing arithmetic.

Anosmia is characteristic of temporal lobe.

I was under the impression that the smell factor was affected by both frontal and temporal

Smell is represented in the uncus (temp lobe- hence smells in TLE) but clinically anosmia is found with orbital frontal lesions.
