8 posts in this topic

Hi,

i am new to the site..but from what i read i see that to get an SpR job is tough.....I have an Indian MD in psychiatry and a total of 5 1/2 years experience in psychiatry at the SHO level...going by the Basic psych guidelines...

would some one advise me if i stand a chance for any SpR post....plz help....

I have done Plab part I and am wondering whether i should do Part II.... ???

The Royal College website has a page for overseas doctors looking to gain entry to the SpR grade.

Not in the UK!

But it will be an added qualification, if you are going for an ACF post or an MPhill in Psych.

You can get shortlisted easily for a CT1 post and then work your way up!
