Are there any extra-curricular(i.e not part of the regular Psych. rotation) Psychotherapy courses anyone can recommend?

Thanks

where are you based?

how much can you afford?

what exactly would you be interested in?

if you answer these, things might become more clear...

then you could focus more on what you could do...

more than happy to discuss further ...

that is to put down some ideas, and hopefully some more people could follow ...

Hi, sorry for the delay in my response.

I am based in London.

What will determine what i'll be willing to pay really depends on the duration of the course, and what qualifiaction(s) comes with it. I am thinking along the lines of something that can lead to an additional qualifiaction like a masters degree, or a postgraduate diploma, acceptable to whichever supervising bodies. That sort of thing.

I'm interested in Cognitive Behavioural therapies and any other psychological therapy that might increases ones marketability ;)

What do you say?

N.

Hello there...I am sorry for not getting back to you earlier, but I am trying to study ...

I would try to shop around if I were in your shoes...

try some websites such as ....

http://www.artspsychotherapy.org

interesting courses leading to certificates and MA in the future....

or go for the tavistock site...

www.tavi-port.org

no need to explain about the tavistock i think....

what about the ukcp site

you will find many different schools and you will see what exactly is on offer in every different school in terms of training....

Have you decided which past you want to follow?

any other ideas guys...?

good luck!
