hi

we had a meeting with the medical staffing yesterday

it was general meeting regarding on calls etc

the member from the staffing brought the new changes topic into the meeting and distributed the new guideliness to everyone

he said that according to him HSMP will be treated equally with EU and british

he is trying to get it in writing from the Pimd who regulate the SpR appointment for us.

he was quite sure and confident about this

Thats very good news. I dont mean this to disregard PFT holders as almost all of the current PFT holders, atleast in Psychiatry should be able to move into HSMP and this will keep us going for some time :)

very good news.it's important that for each job application include a covering letter stating that hsmp and similar visas do not need work permits.trust will interpret differently over the near future so this is important.no harm even phoning hr and saying that one has applied for this job and you have a permanent visa, this will be noted.

also important that those on pft's move to hsmp visas now.

I had a similar conversation with my medical staffing but their veiw was unfortunately opposite. She thinks that HSMP should be considered as overseas and all of them will be considered for the job only if there are not enough eu candidates.

I am in the process of making a letter to deanery
