Indian medical degrees to be recognised by UK.

Well, now its not getting through the qualifying process.

It's getting registration with the GMC.

It may help the highly qualified to fill Consultant or equivalent posts.

Would this mean reciprocal recognition of UK degrees by MCI? Didn't the Indian Health Minister say that NRIs would be encouraged (allowed?) to work in India?

Shocking isn't it? The perception in India doesn't seem to have changed, or the govt. doesn't seem to want to accept it!!! :o :o
