LONDON LATEST 13/06/07

6 posts in this topic

I have been trying desperately hard to get some sort of information from London deanery re: Re Offers and this was a reply I got today.

[highlight]Thank you for your email.  All initial offers have been sent out. We expect that there will be batches of further offers made from the 11th until the 20th of June, after those who have been holding offers have had to decide if to accept them or not. After this, there will be further but fewer offers made until the speciality is full, i.e. offers have been accepted for all posts. When this happens, it will be made clear on the deanery website. If they have had an FTSTA in the first batch, they may be later offered an RTG, but this is not guaranteed.

If the speciality is full, this will be shown on the website. Otherwise, doctors could still receive an offer up to 20th June.

There is more information on the MMC website  http://www.mmc.nhs.uk/pages/news/article?A6DEEFB8-79EE-4B43-98AA-964BE4E71306

At the moment it is not possible to give out your ranking. This will not be available during round one, i.e before 22nd June, due to the need to prioritise making all our offers and recording responses. This is a national guideline. Feedback will be given at the end of Round 2.

Best wishes

I saw this thread elsewhere.

http://www.psychclub.com/YaBB.pl?num=1181736253/0#0

What does this mean????????????

Does this mean i have no chance of being re offered an ST in lOndon/KSS in round 1?

Or does this mean There wont be any posts for round 2 and that they have used up all the posts for ST2/3 in round 1 itself or does this mean 100% jobs have accepted in round 1??

Can anyone please clarify. And please ensure tht your answer is mentioned in this thread itself.

I am going to ask the chap who brought this to our attention.
