competencies for applying for Casc

3 posts in this topic

Hi,

Can anyone plz clarify what does competencies in Psychotherapy and Child and Adolescent mean as a requirement for CASC? I have done the c

C&A post sometime back and I don't have WPBA's for them. I have also attended psychotherapy supervision between feb 2005 and Aug 2007 and again between Aug 08 to Feb 09. I have also done a short term psychotherapy.

Please reply.

Thanks in advance.

well, i showed my log book for the C&A job and the trainers report that was there in it.. my college tutor was happy to sign me off the last time based on that.. as a trainer's report is considered prooof of competency in the old days.. for the psychotherapy one, ask ur supervisor if he can provide a letter.. i had done a 6 mth therapy job so i got a trainers report for that too..

that is right, you need some evidence that you have worked in that area or had some training.

More than anything, the important thing is that if college tutor is happy to sign your application, then that's it, you don't have to worry.

Hope this helps you

regards
