more than the difference...what does it mean

Basically the difference is

1. For those who are not in any jobs or have gone into non-training posts after august 2007.(due to MMC) These people would have been in training jobs prior to Aug'07.

2. For those who have been working in career posts, started prior to the Aug '07/Jan '08 deadline.

The main difference in these catogories is that while the first set would have continued to be in training posts and therefore be eligible for further MRCPsych exams, if MMC did not happen.

The second group had chosen to hold career posts and allowing them to sit for the exams is entirely subject to their clinical supervisor and pending prospective approval.
