In children, after psychotic illnesses the next illness with a chronic poor prognosis is:

1. Bipolar affective disorder

2. Schizophrenic psychosis

3. Social phobia

4. Drug induced psychosis

in my experience bipolar.

i think the question here is framed wrong.in birmingham questions either psychosis or schizophrenia was there in the question but the other was not in the choices.hence bipolar i guess.not sure though.

Children who developed bipolar illness before the age of 18 often suffer from more severe symptoms of both depression and mania, and have reported fewer symptom-free days
