In a RCT of a new antidepressant,more patients drop out of the placebo group than the antidepressant group, select the type of bias in this situation

1.attrition bias

2.Neyman's

3.Confounding bias

4.Information bias

5.Selection bias

What wud u suggest as answer?

attritiion bias unless someone can think of anything different

the drop out is most from placebo group,

if the answer is attrition bias, then for remedy we have to do last observation carried forward, which might give quite a different result as in fact most of the placebo patients would have improved with time spontaneously.

what about selection bias

choosing wrong people for placebo

any thoughts
